As the recipient of a National Award from the Advertising Photographers of America (see my "Seattle" gallery on this site), I enjoy photographing captivating subjects. I also love living in the beautiful Southwest, USA. With the vast landscapes that stretch out for hundreds of miles, it provides a great opportunity to capture this beauty in my photography.
I started taking pictures from a very early age and enjoyed using a variety of differnt types of film cameras. Then, I learned the art of Black & White Photography back in a high school photography class (everything from how the 35mm camera worked all the way to developing / printing my own photographs).
Now transitioning into the digital world of photography, I initially started out on an Olympus digital camera about 4 years ago and as of 2007, I have now upgraded to a Canon EOS 5D 12.8 Megapixel digital camera (DSLR), which is one of Canon's professional grade DSLRs.
